Rain Barrels!
I found someone in town selling the 55 gal food barrels for $15 a pop. Considering the going rate is $25-30, I'm ahead of the game! I'm debating whether to paint them or build a lattice cover to hide them from site. The lattice would allow me to plant climbing plants (probably beans on one, and something flowery on another) which to me works for double duty. Either way will be very happy for me!
The other plus side is turning the barrels into rain barrels will be a good project to involve my Father-in-Law in. He needs hobby projects!
As soon as it gets warm enough to be outside for more than a few minutes, I need to plant my grass seed and lay out the walkway between the front of the house and driveway.
