I found fun things in minecraft~.
I have discovered the joys of texture packs in Minecraft. X3 They are truly wonderful things. I already knew about them, and I saw a few in some videos I watch, but when I actually went to look some up and download a few, I ended up downloading so many! One of the most popular is the Painterly set, which lets you do many amazing things! You can individually customize every item and pattern and texture in the game by choosing from a good list of options, such as making the yellow flowers into star flowers or making your leather armor a Santa costume. XD The options were sometimes amusing, too, such as "I want my sugar in a big ol' pile!" versus "I want my sugar in a bag, like civilized people" (in reference to the image of the sugar once it is made).
Another one, and the one I'm currently using, turns the world into a candy land where everything is made of sweets. @w@ The sticks are peppermint, the sword is chocolate, the cobblestone is gingerbread with icing, etcetera. I'm going to make something cool, and then figure out how to upload a few pictures to a livejournal post. :Db
Some other cool ones I downloaded are ones that make it look like a Zelda game, one that makes it look like Terraria, one that makes different patterns with various things, and more. :3
