"Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros," the Philippines' entry to the First Films World Competition at the 29th Montreal World Film Festival in Canada, bagged first place and was awarded the Golden Zenith Award. It bested 15 entries in the First Films World Competition. The film was written by Maximo Yamamoto, directed by Aureaus Solito and produced by Raymond Lee. Although the actual Maximo Oliveros, Nathan Lopez, in the film isn't really gay in real life, he portrayed the gay role darn well.

Of all the headlines I've browsed through this morning, this is the only one worth noting. Nakakainis why newspapers always have the to feature the bad news. I'm sick of bad news. Rallies, killings, IMPEACHFRIGGINMENT and reading all about it in the front page just isn't going to boost any pinoy's self esteem or morale.

I feel sorry for those who are preoccupied with what's going on in the government right now. That pathetic excuse for a government isn't going to improve. Let's just watch out for quality pinoy films. Baka may mangyari pa. hehehe.

And that's about the only thing you're going to read on my journal coz i'm making this whole chuvathingy ...

*drum roll*
