when we sit down to discuss how things are progressing or why we aren't able to finish on time or weren't able to do things at least 'almost' perfectly - he asks me: 'were you not able to learn anything for before?'
i want to throw the same question back at him. does he not know by now that data submission turn around cannot be done in one day? he tells me: '7 people are already working on it'. i know that 7-effing-people are already working on it but they gave revisions and changes just yesterday lunch.
with a grand total of what? 4 thousand plus materials to be extended to what? 60 thousand plus plants you think its that easy to revise? that a 4 hour time frame can cover that much? if he really think it's that easy - then i think he just needs to do it by himself.
i cannot for the life of me understand him. he wants things done quick and efficient. if he knows our data leads and our clients you can only pick one. it's either we do it quick or we do it efficient.
i'm actually running out of patience for him. the reason why we are in this deep shit is because he doesn't listen and because he's a big ass kisser. yes. he puts our team in jeopardy trying to keep the bosses happy by feeding them false hopes that we can finish this in impossible record time.
the data leads are doing the best they can i know. but this disorganization... i cannot contain it within the team. we can do our own work - yes. but the data integrity will need to be coming from the core team and the functional teams. up until now they are still revising rules, changing configuration. and we have to bear the brunt of it.
i'm sorry to burst his happy bubble once again - but this saturday deadline? is one big f*c*ing bull shit.
