Stoke me kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!

So I realized I haven't posted anything in a long time (Yes, I've really been that busy. More or less). So what that means is that it's time for an all-inclusive monster post. Hopefully I won't forget anything.

The last time I wrote anything it was just past Halloween and my stupid web browser lost my post, leaving me disenfranchised with Live Journal. Actually, I was just too lazy to post things. Not much happened for the following week and a half, just lame classwork and research. About a week and a half after Halloween, I went out with my friends on Thursday night to a moderately fancy local restaurant. Food wasn't bad, and afterwards we all went over to Obi's place for apple pie, cake, and football between Rutgers and Louisville. We were all rooting for Rutgers, who amazingly won, but they've since lost to Cincinnati, so whatever. It was a good night, plus my friend Suzi was in town from the twin cities, just to hang out. Her birthday was on Friday, so of course we partied - but we actually had a party planned already, regardless of her birthday.

Which leads us to that Friday. My buddy Jason was having a "Wine and Cheese" party. Pretty much everyone brought a bottle of wine, some brought cheese, and everybody dressed up in fancy clothes and proceeded to boogie down to hip hop and gangsta rap. Very classy. Anyway, I slammed about 8 glasses of wine and proceeded to get pretty hammered. Evidently, I tried to show Obi how to do the Young Joc move (you know, the "meet me at the club, it's going down" fist curl) - at least that's what the visual evidence would seem to imply. I don't really recall. I'd post a link, but it's on Suzi's facebook, and she's a UMich'er, so none of you can access it.

Anyway, afterwards, a number of us went to a local club after the party died down at about 1 AM, and we hung out there till closing. I was supposed to hang out with Obi and Suzi on Saturday, but Obi had a surprise job interview and I had a pretty wicked hangover, so not much happened. My friend Alan invited me to *another* wine and cheese party that Saturday evening, but I was too busy watching Texas get it's ass handed to itself on a platter by K State. Whatever...

Then, more work. Man I'm so tired of classes. This was followed by the "Game of the Century" party this last Saturday at Obi's. As you all know, Ohio State won, but it was a great game regardless, and we might get a rematch. It'll play itself out over the next few weeks. After that, I had to study hardcore for two tests over the last two days, but they're finally over with and I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving at the Kowalak's (Martha's folks).

Since John likes to include a little YouTube in his posts, I'll give you guys some goodies as well. Here's Nate Robinson blocking Yao Ming. Doesn't sound impressive until you realize that Yao Ming is 7'5" - and Nate Robinson in 5'9"! Also, here's an armless guy winning a swimming race. No kidding.

Well, that's about it. I've been watching a lot of Red Dwarf too, if you didn't get the reference in the title. If you still don't get the reference in the title, ask me about it. I'll tell you to watch Red Dwarf. Stay tuned for next week's episode in which Alex attends a charity banquet, goes to Thanksgiving dinner, attends a boat-turning party, and shoots lasers at people. (I'll try and get pics the next time, I promise).

And, as a special treat for those of you who stuck with this post till the end, you get: Keeley Hazell! I'm going to make a personal judgment call here and say that she's probably the hottest woman in the world right now. And that's all I've got to say about that.
