That sucks that she's leaving... You could always marry her to keep her here ;)

Supposedly a lot of girls come here as Au Paires with their only goal to find a guy to marry so that they can stay in the US. But we're not quite at that stage yet. :-)

Yea, Gertreida is an old school Afrikaans name.
