[ History ] : http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Sora#Story While I'm sure I could write out the history it's already been done :|b

[ Personality ] :
Sora is your typical teenager with a heart of gold. He likes hanging out with his friends and having a good time, even if it's something as simple as hanging out on the beach. However Sora's true destiny as the chosen wielder of the Keyblade has made his life far more difficult. Kairi told him right before his journey began to "never change" and Sora has kept that promise throughout the years that he's had to fight against the darkness. In every world that Sora stops in he always finds ways to help those in need. From helping a bear full of fluff find his friends, to returning 101 dalmation puppies to their parents, and saving the worlds from the Heartless or Nobodies, no task is too great or small for this bona-fide hero. Sora is confident in his abilities, believes strongly in what's innately right and wrong, and always fights for friends.

While Sora didn't start on his journey brimming with confidence, he did have a lot of heart. When his home was first attacked by the Heartless, though he had nothing more than a wooden stick as a weapon, when he realized Riku and Kairi were on the island too he went in search of his friends despite the danger. When Sora woke up in Traverse Town, though it was a strange place he had never seen before, he never stopped once trying to find his friends. He had no idea what was going on when the Heartless continued to attack him, but it never stopped him in his quest. This shows the initial strength of heart that drew the Keyblade to himself and away from Riku who was allowing darkness to linger in his heart.

Through his first journey, Sora grows tremendously as a person. His fighting skills have grown considerably since his time on the islands when he and Riku would play with wooden swords, but he was still unsure of himself which is why he lost the Keyblade to Riku when he first faced him at Hollow Bastion. His heart faltered and in that instant Riku regained the Keyblade that was rightfully his. With Beast's help, Sora learns to depend on his friends for the strength he physically lacked. This in no way makes Sora weak as a person. Sora knows the true value of friendship, in that true friends will always be there for you, and this makes Sora very strong in heart which more than makes up for what he may lack.

By the time Kingdom Hearts II begins, Sora has become extremely confident in his abilities and has grown stronger in physical strength as well. This has made Sora a little bit cocky. Though he has no idea of what powers the Organization XIII may wield it doesn't stop him from taunting Xigbar, and calling him a coward for fighting behind the Nobodies.

It has been said that Sora is disrespectful to those in authority, but that's not really the case. Sora see's all people as equals and doesn't believe anyone has more value than any other person. While he knew that Yen Sid was a powerful Master, Mickey's teacher, it doesn't stop him from asking right off the bad where King Mickey is. Donald chastises Sora for not showing the proper respect from the beginning, but if Sora had true disrespect of Yen Sid he wouldn't have been as polite as he was after Donald chastised him. The same happened when he met Queen Minnie for the first time. He didn't bow and his first point of concern was to ask if she had seen King Mickey. Of course Donald chastised him for that as well. Sora can seem even more disrespectful when the person of authority is one of Sora's friends such as Simba. He doesn't bow or act overly respectful to Simba when he meets him again in the Pride Lands, but when Simba is heading to the peak of Pride Rock he does bow then to show the respect Simba deserves as king. Sora will even stand at attention to Yen Sid and Queen Minnie when the situation calls for it.

Sora is insanely loyal to his friends, and while his close friends get special attention, any friend Sora meets holds a very special place in his heart. This is because Sora has always been big on helping others. Even since he was little it's something he's always been willing to do, even for those he didn't know. He gave Ventus a part of his heart when the darkness in him had been ripped out by Master Xehanort. Later when Ventus lost his heart again, Sora felt Ventus's hurt even on Destiny Islands. Once again he offered Ventus's heart a place to stay, resting inside himself. For those closest to him, there is nothing Sora wouldn't do. When Kairi lost her heart, and Sora learned it was resting inside himself, he willingly unlocked his heart with Keyblade of People's hearts and became a Heartless. Sora is also big on keeping promises especially ones he's made to his friends. Even promises that are forgotten will be remembered, such as his promise to thank Namine for returning his memories. Granted it wasn't Sora himself who kept the promise, but it was his personality who was engrained in the data in Jiminiy's Journal that kept it (KH:ReCoded). Sora did technically break his promise to Riku to take care of Kairi, but there was a bigger promise that needed to be kept--For all of them to return home. Sora could have returned to the islands with Kairi, but he knew with the worlds closed to one another that she would be safe. Though Sora wanted to return home, and with the Gummi Ship may have even been able to, he needed to find Riku to bring him back as well because that was his real promise to Kairi. Not only that, Donald and Goofy still needed to find King Mickey and he wasn't going to abandon them either.

Along with his confidence, Sora has grown a measure of pride, and it is only for his friends that he will put that aside. He literally got on his hands and knee's in front of Saix when he thought the older man would tell him where Kairi was, however he was quick to jump up in anger when he found out he'd been tricked into the submissive position. Sora's generally a light hearted person, but he's quick to anger when his friends are in danger. While this anger would fuel the darkness in his friend Riku, in Sora it makes his light shine all the brighter.

Sora has an amazing measure of trust in his friends. When others were telling him that Riku was falling to darkness, Sora refused to believe it because his faith in Riku was that strong. Sora made a promise early on that no matter what happened, if Riku were to tread down a dark path he would always stay beside him, and he has kept that promise ever since. There is an element of naiveté to Sora, rather he can be a bit too trusting It's a double edged sword that Sora is trusting of others. He wants to believe that there is a measure of goodness in people if only a small amount, however it's this trust that caused Sora to be tricked by Saix. But it's also this trust that makes him very forgiving of his friends, and of others when they begin to make the right choices. He forgave Riku for going against him and fighting on the side of darkness when he protected him and Kairi. Sora also forgave Axel when he gave his life to defeat the Nobodies that were keeping them from getting to The World That Never Was.

If harm does befall his friends, Sora's entire world is temporarily rattled. His confidence is such that he doesn't imagine his friends can get hurt, or at least it's not on the for front of his mind. When Goofy gets beamed by the rock in Hollow Bastion, Sora is deeply shocked when Goofy doesn't get back up. Both Donald and King Mickey react as if Goofy's been killed, and Sora can't believe that it's actually happening; a friend of his is dead. Even when Axel is fading into nothingness he tells Axel they can both see Kairi again together, though he knows it can't possibly be true. When Riku falls after finally defeating Xemnas for good, and tells Sora that he can't make it, Sora refuses to believe him and pulls him to his feet. It may be that Sora lives in a small state of denial when it comes to physically losing his friends, because he knows in his heart they'll always be there, but he can't really imagine ever losing anyone.

Sora isn't afraid of much. Though he fights against the darkness, the darkness doesn't frighten him. When Riku extended his hand to Sora at the start of their journey, Sora extended his hand back to keep Riku from going. Later in Kingdom Hearts II, Sora even suggests diving into the darkness to go after their enemy. There are also few people that Sora's afraid of. Some might be afraid of a walking super tall skeleton or undead pirates, but Sora shows no fear towards these friends or foes. Courage is a trait that comes innately to Sora. Being startles however is a completely different matter.

A very strong moral fiber dictates Sora's actions. He always follows his heart, and it's been commented that Sora's heart is nearly devoid of all darkness. He believes very strongly in doing the right thing, helping friends and those in need. He's not above telling his convictions to others, especially those that would see otherwise. Sora get's very serious when it comes to his friends and being on the side of light. His confidence in what's right is one of the traits that keeps him going no matter the obstacles.

Sora can act serious, but he can be silly too. In order to cheer someone up, one of his first lines of defense is to make a silly face at them to try and get a laugh. He picked this up from Donald and Goofy since it was one of the first things they did in order to get Sora to smile.

If you're on the side of darkness, selfish, thinking only of yourself, and hurting others, then you're automatically on Sora's bad side. Sora has a very strong moral fiber and he believes in justice, friendship, and helping others. When someone, such as Organization XIII and Ansem are hurting or destroying worlds, Sora can't sit by and let it happen even if it deters him a little from his original intent. In Kingdom Hearts I his larger goal was to find Riku and Kairi, Sora couldn't ignore what was happening because of Ansem and the Heartless, and it sets him a little off from finding his friends. He knows it too, which is part of why he and Donald got into a fight before crash landing in Deep Jungle. Sora hopes that his quest to defeat the Heartless will lead to his finding his friends, but he's unsure. Once he does find them, Riku chides Sora on because "while [Sora] was off fighting Heartless. [He] should have been looking for [Kairi]". This upsets Sora because he believed what he had been doing was the right thing despite the doubts he may have had. This also contributed to his heart faltering when he faced Riku in Hallow Bastion. In the end it turned out the goals really were the same, or at least wrapped in one another, so with Sora following his heart he was able to accomplish both his goals. In Kingdom Hearts II the story was much the same, only this time Yen Sid assured Sora that in his quest to vanquish Organization XIII he'd be accomplishing his goal of finding Riku and King Mickey.

If there's one thing Sora can't stand it's someone who fights behind and uses others. This is another sign of Sora's own strength and moral values. When he found out that Cloud was being controlled by Hades, and the same with Auron in Kingdom Hearts II, Sora disliked the God of the Dead even more, and despite his godly status called Hades a coward.

Sora's motivation is forever and always his friends. Being with them and helping them out is what Sora is all about. At the start of the series, Sora wasn't completely willing to go out and explore other worlds, but because it was what Riku and Kairi wanted he helped them build the raft. As long as they were all together that's what mattered most to Sora. Sora always follows his heart, so as long as the actions to do the right thing aren't going to hurt innocent bystanders he's willing to help. Back on the Pride Lands it wasn't their business to help restore the Pride Lands or over throw Scar, but Sora offers nonetheless. He also tries to do the right thing by rescuing Auron's free will from Hades. Even though Auron can only say "thanks for meddling".

Generally optimistic, there are few things that can get Sora down however there is a certain amount of realism to Sora's optimistic side. Goofy is the 100% optimist in the group, and when the trio was in Beast's Castle and were told about the rose and Beast's plight, it was Sora and Donald who were unsure if the Beast could break the curse or not. This is because Sora believes that most people don't really change. When they went to Agrabah, he didn't trust Iago right away because he had been Jafar's helper. Goofy was the one who convinced Sora that Iago could be good, and while it was an accident when Iago helped them fight the Heartless, it did help change Sora's mind if only a little.

Outside of the boy that everyone see's Sora is really just a teenager at heart. He has his own doubts and insecurities. In the Realm of Darkness he even says there may be a little darkness in him too. This is because throughout his friendship with Riku, he's always believed Riku to be better than him thus he envied his best friend if only a little. Jealousy is one of the traits of darkness, but as Sora has proved, while he may have been envious of Riku it was not what drove his need for strength. Rather it was the need to protect his friends that made Sora grow stronger on each new path. Sora recognizes his friends are his true power, and he realizes while in the Realm of Darkness that while he did envy Riku there was something the other could never have, and that was having the other for a friend. Riku comments that he envies Sora's ability to follow his heart and his heart always leads him to protecting his friends. Sora's entire journey was based on friendship. He would willingly give his life for Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, and anyone else he may have met on his journey. As the chosen wielder of the Keyblade this is his destiny, and one Sora is willing to accept because he wants to be there for his friends.

[ Age-up Difference ] : For Sora there will have been very little change in his base personality for his time spent in Pleasantville. Sora, being who he is, would have looked everywhere in Pleasantville for Riku and Kairi, but when it's obvious that neither is there, he is going to try and break out of the place to get back home. In order to fill his spare time, as there will be a lot of it, he'll try and make friends with the locals and any others that have found themselves magically stuck in this world. Since Sora will be able to keep his items with him in Pleasantville, he'll continue training so that he doesn't lose his skill. He's curious about this place called Dirty Vegas, and he'll wonder if that's where Riku and Kairi were taken to, or if they are just back home on the Island. The biggest problem Sora will have with Pleasantville is that there isn't much excitement to the place. He'll have a few out bursts of anger, but it'll never be anything that last very long. Mostly he'll be frustrated with his situation and that no matter what he tries he can't get out.

[ Abilities] : Sora is your basic can do all main character. There's few things he's not good at in game, however considering LJRP and how many games place a limit on the characters abilities. A small paragraph will follow the general list of abilities to explain which abilities would be tempered and which would be omitted completely.

Physical

♦ The Keyblade: Sora has the ability to wield the Keyblade, a sword that is shaped similar to a skeleton key. Despite the fact that the Keyblade has no sharp edge it's an effective weapon for fighting against enemies be they Heartless or Nobodies. The Keyblade itself has the ability to lock or unlock any lock including people's hearts. This in turn is a weapon in and of itself though it's rarely used in that manner in game play by Sora. Through the game series he has become quite adept at fighting and is not easily beat. If the game is played well he can go up against "legendary" swordsmen such as Squall "Leon"heart, Cloud, and Sephiroth with ease. This is of course only later in the series, as initially he had a very hard time fighting Leon. Sora is also able use not one, but two keyblades at a time. Once, during his fight with Roxas, he was even able to use three keyblades against his opponent but only for a short time. The double Keyblade, or sync blade, ability was gained because of Sora sharing his heart with Ventus. While the Keyblade is Sora's weapon of choice, he can also use other sword like objects in a mimicked style to how he fights with the Keyblade I.e. wooden sticks and the struggle bat (basically a foam sword).

♦Stamina: Sora is blessed with amazing stamina. In Hollow Bastion and In the Land of Dragons he went up against hundreds of Heartless without growing tired. He was more than ready to continue fighting even when other experienced fighters like Yuffie were exhausted. This too is something Sora has acquired through his two years fighting Heartless. When he was younger he'd have a hard time keeping up with Riku, but now he can fight with the best of them.

♦Durability: Sora has fallen from great heights, such as in Deep Jungle when the Gummi ship crashed, and has lived to tell the tale. He can jump down from large heights without getting hurt, and he can take a beating from the Heartless to boot.

♦Strength: In game Sora is seen lifting craters and large rocks with ease. This is likely a side effect of his being a bearer of the Keyblade and it's own special magic.

♦Miscellaneous Sora can glide/fly. Flying is specifically something used only in Neverland, but from it he has learned to glide for semi-long distances. He can run up walls, and while Sora never does this himself because he and Roxas share the same abilities Sora can too, jump long distances, and he can skateboard too. Though it is an offshoot of his personality, Sora also can make friends with just about anyone he meets.

Magic
♦ Fire/Blizzard/Thunder/Gravity/Cure: These are Sora's basic magic spells. Each has three levels of strength that make the attack more affective. Most are meant to be used for a single target, but some forms of magic can affect those closest to Sora or a group of enemies further away. Each attack is a representation of the element for which it is named. Through both Kingdom Hearts I and Kingdom Hearts II the attacks have changed just a little, but the elemental attributes have always remained the same. With or without the Keyblade, Sora can cast these magic spells though when he does have the Keyblade the spells typically come from the Keyblade's tip.

♦Drive Forms: Sora has 6 different drive forms that can be used, however each of these forms requires either Donald or Goofy to be present in order for them to work. Each form enhances a different attribute of Sora in conjunction with the abilities of either team member, for example: Valor form increases Sora's strength, Wisdom Form increases Sora's magic, and Master form is a combination of both wisdom and strength. In game it is while Sora is using these forms that he uses the double Keyblades however as noted above Sora does have the ability to use the double Keyblades outside of Drive forms.

♦Summons: Various characters can be summoned by Sora to assist him in battle. These include characters such as Genie, Tinkerbell, Dumbo, Mushu, Simba, etc. Each character has different ablities of their own and can be useful during battles. However since most games do not allow summons this is more for reference that Sora does have the ability than to say it would ever be used.

♦Limit Breaks: Limit breaks are performed by Sora and a specific character. Usually this is between Sora and the summons, but it can also be between himself and his party members. This is more of a manifestation of how easily Sora can work with and adapt to other's fighting styles.

Unless a Donald or a Goofy were to show up, Sora's Drive Form abilities would be nixed. His summon abilities also wont be included in the game, and while the Keyblade will still be a nifty tool for getting into places, like in Pleasantville it's not going to help him get out of here, once he does get it back of course. In the meanwhile Sora's going to be limited to magic spells and his own skill with a sword, aka picking up sticks and rusty pipes if need be.

[ Other Important Facts ] :
Keyblades are particular about their owners. If anyone were to try and take Sora's Keyblade they'd find it would disappear and end up right back in Sora's hand, even if he handed it over.

More of a random fact than a skill, Sora can also sing fairly well. It's nothing he does on a normal basis, but if the situation calls for it, at least he's not going to kill any eardrums.

[ Samples ] :

Third Person Sample:
This was it. Sora looked out over the keep of Hallow Bastion where over 1000 Heartless stood ready to attack. Many more of his friends were already down fighting in the fray, and he could see them from where he was. It made him glad to see Cloud and Leon fighting side by side, or at least Cloud fighting beside anyone, but it reminded him all too much of the friend that wasn't beside him.

Riku--Sora had felt him back in the Land of Dragons he knew he had. The man had been wearing an Organization cloak, but it had felt like Riku. Sora closed his eyes for a moment remembering the last time he had seen his friend. They had closed the door to darkness together and Sora had believed they would one day meet again. He had left Kairi back on the island with the promise that he'd return home, but only once he found Riku. It wouldn't be home without the two of them. Then there was Kairi; the Organization had kidnapped her and stolen her from the islands where she had been safe.

The very thought made Sora angry. His fist clenched and the Keyblade materialized in his hand as his bright blue eyes opened to look back at the battlefield. "I'll find you Kairi, and Riku too." He looks up to the sunset sky determination in his eyes. "Just give me a little more time." His other friends were fighting now, and though the King had told him they needed to find Riku and Kairi and everything here was under control, what kind of person would he be if he just left his other friends when they still needed help?

Sora grasped the Keyblade tightly as he took off at a run into the battlefield with Donald and Goofy right behind him. He would find them, both Riku and Kairi, and then they could go home together, but for now he would continue fighting because that was his destiny.

The Keyblade is swung forward as the first Heartless is within reach. Donald and Goofy go off into a separate direction as a group of Heartless to their backs distract them. Sora continues fighting, the Keyblade shining as it cuts through the dark creatures that are the Heartless. The blue-eyed boy looks up quickly as a shadow falls over the ground and he spots a Heartless in the air above him. He jumps upwards higher than any normal person could jump. The Keyblade comes down on the creature, but it's relentless. Sora changes the direction of his swing several times over till it eventually succumbs and fall quickly to the Earth. A quick surge of magic keeps Sora airborne as he repositions himself and comes down on the Hearrtless as it falls. The blow lands dead center and a wave of energy reverberates out from the fallen Heartless shaking and destroying some of the weaker Heartless surrounding it. Sora jumps away as several more creatures attack the place where Sora had been. As he moves he points the Keyblade at them firing off several rounds of fire to keep them at bay.

The battle continues for hours and still more Heartless appear. Sora's been reunited with Donald and Goofy and while they're ready to fight they look a little apprehensive at the large amount of Heartless that are still standing. "Come on!" Sora taunts ready for more.

"Is that all you got? Huh." Sora blinks in surprise as the Heartless are instantly destroyed as a member of Organization 13 steps forward. Sora's eyes narrow and he grasps the Keyblade in both hands. This battle is far from over, but Sora's not going down without a fight.
