Moving in went great! We love the new place. We don't even want to work anymore because we want to sit at home :)
School is finally over. I got a B in Chemistry but an A in Technical English - So I maintain my 3.5GPA and my Dean's List Status lol. Yay!!
I'm going to try to get into Nursing school come this January. I'm taking the Summer and Fall off for child bearing :)
Speaking of Child Bearing....I had my "20 Week Ultrasound" yesterday. We promptly celebrated and bought $130 worth of baby clothes lol.
The ultrasound and doctor's visit went great! The baby is completely healthy in every way. The bones are growing at a 20 week rate and the brain is at 19 weeks. I'm at 19w1d. So everything is either right on schedule or ahead of schedule. They are thinking my due date is October 4th based on the averages. No Spina Bifida or any foliate defects. The baby is 10oz and 6.5 inches long. My blood pressure still hasn't changed so no signs of hypertension yet. I'm also not appearing to be a candidate for gestational diabetes so far. So yay! Very healthy! All heart chambers and all veins and arteries (I can't remember which one just has one and which one has two) in the cord. The ultrasound tech said that the baby is extremely healthy and average and I don't need to worry about anything thus far. I'm completely okay with being average :)
As far as the baby's weight goes, the baby ranged at the 64% so the baby is a little larger than the average baby that's been measured at this point in the growth. Kind of scary!! Chad and I are both pretty small people! I'm 5ft2 and 136 and he's 5ft9. Why is our baby above average in size?! The doctor commented I'm not gaining a lot of weight but he is happy I gained any at all. I didn't get a lecture. He said it's more normal that the opposite happens (too much weight gain) but it's not uncommon for women to not put on a lot of weight until the end of their 2nd trimester. So he's not worried yet and thinks I'll catch up to everybody else lol. He knows I couldn't keep anything down from week 6 through week 13 or so. We'll blame the hormones!
Okay! So ultrasound pictures and the sex announcement :)
Okay kind of hard to see...at least for me. Look for the black airplane. That's the fluid around the baby. Turn your head to the right. You are staring at the baby's back side. The indentation into the black fluid on the right (or bottom) is a bent leg. The one on the left or top is the penis. The top of the airplane is another leg if you unbend your head.
I'm sure you guys saw it right away but I'm horrible about those "Find the sailboat" pictures lol.
Jack Dallas Parsons says hi! He's pretty much all creepy and Skeletor looking but the tech said he's growing fat in his cheeks now. Yay!
Now he's smiling. He knows we are watching!!
Cute little baby foot! 2.3cm long!
Cute baby hand!
He's come a long way since his first ultrasound :)
OH! And my friend Laura paints so she is surprising me with this for Jack!
