OMG HEART ATTACK!
I had to get a pap smear done today at 11 weeks. The doctor tried to find the heart beat while he was at it and couldn't. He tried the first time for twenty minutes and then gave up and ran my tests. Afterwords he looked again and couldn't find anything. They had to take me to get another ultrasound. The little monkey was leaning against the back of my uterus so it made it impossible for him to hear a heart beat.
My baby is out of control. It was doing jumps and spins and all sorts of stuff in there. I can't believe I have a thing in me two inches long that moves that much and I can't feel it. It was like a little Mexican Jumping Bean. The heart was clocked at 167bpm which is 2 more than the first time. They said anywhere between 150 and 180 is healthy at 11 weeks.
I wish the doctor didn't ask me scary questions like if I was spotting or anything. He could have just said, "Oh well..we can't find the heart beat a lot! Let's just go get an ultrasound to be safe!" Way to work me up over nothing >.>; He acted really, really nervous that he couldn't find a heart beat.
Oh the ultrasound technician said it's more like 11 weeks and 6 days. She told me to still go by my original date of 10/8/2010, but I mean - it might be earlier at this point. Every time they check me, it's older than they thought it should be. I should be at exactly 11 weeks right now according to my last period. The first ultrasound said I should be at 11 weeks and 4 days. Now it's 11 weeks and 6 days e.e
