and the very moment you realised the name Elite Four was not actually numerically accurate.
Even years later I still swear death to the Champion.
In this case its Lance, crazy ol' Lance who still seems to live under the delusion that hes actually a detective. Yes because making your Dragonite punch Team Rocket Grunts in the face as you break into peoples houses will definately always be more valid then any qualifications will ever be.
Theres an Always Sunny joke to be made about his cape...
Im actually pretty damn surprised I made it this far, it has to be years since Ive actually beaten the Elite Four without the help of Action Replay or any Pokemon traded from a different game. I spent two hours looking for my Pokemon Platinum though until I gave up and just went after the Elite Four the old fashioned way.

EDIT: I just beat the Elite Four + Lance, Professor Oak came.
