I need a game to play, where I can have fun at night and not loose my mind.

Out of curiousity I was looking at World of Warcraft's website, it looks interesting but exspensive. Comments?
I really need something to carry me through the winter, and AoE and RoN are boring as hell now. And GT4 can only do so much.
I know at least a few of you lot are gamers, so....ya.
