woohoo
Okay, so I made it.. It's Thursday! Finished ALL of that huge project yesterday at 1PM. I didn't think it was going to be possible, and I kept getting ripped out of the office by everyone.. but I got it done. Took off work early, treated myself, and had a good time. Back at work today, been putting fires out all morning.. Figuratively of course. :) Finished up the last of my template work, and now it's time to sit back and relax until someone starts another fire that I will be obliged to put out. Fun fun.
I can't believe I have a PT test in 20 hours. That kind of scares the crap out of me. But it'll be fine.. I'm shooting for airborne standard (210 = 70 in each event).. and nothing more. :) Call me lazy, but when I hit 26 pushups, I stand. When I hit 59 sit-ups, I get off the ground. My run will be decent though, maybe an 80+. Not too worried.
Bunch of down-time (according to the schedule) this weekend. Should be interesting.
Gary agreed to be an official photographer for the two of us, since it looks like we'll come back home to Raleigh to get ready for the Formal. So hopefully I'll have a whole bunch of desk-worthy pics (my mom asked for one.. teehee).
And he said he's looking for an apartment. Which is too bad, because I already found it. I am just going to wait a decent amount of time before I tell him. So he's doing a whole lot of looking for nothing.. I have my mind made up on this (http://www.equityapartments.com/market/brochure.aspx?page=overview&PropID=467) place! Rent is cheap (less than $600/month if I get the right one... and maybe I can work an IBM or Military discount out of them), the place is GORGEOUS (according to the website at least), and in a good neighborhood not far from here. I'll go down and take a tour and lots of pictures sometime soon. I'm not rushing this, but I'm not going to be afraid either.
So.. I am sooo excited. Teehee.
