I liked how the temple was different to each character/set of characters...it did give it a strange sense of being more than just a place, more alive, as it changed from scene to scene. And very nice imagery, as always. ^^

Okay, I loved this. I want to know what the significance of this temple is, though I'm guessing the extra altar is to the goddess of death? Lovely job bringing everyone there in sequence.

Yes it is the death goddess - this is the same temple from the later end of Rune's whipped cream stuff - the full significance I probably won't be getting much more into, but it comes into play later, in Mara's adventure.
