Ah, the elusive main canon! I have...a lot to catch up on, haha. All those characters were new to me. It was such a great piece though, very exciting and with a sweet ending! :)

Thank you!

And, heh, main canon is very elusive indeed - there's not very much of it so far. The premise is that Main Canon (Heroes of the Revolution) is about the restoration of the government, whereas Divide & Rule is about the fall of the government 30 years previously and how it happened, but I got distracted into writing all the Edward/Julia. Anyway, if you are interested, the main canon pieces are mainly pretty short and this one is the actual chronological starting point (and introduces Charles and Anna and Colonel Seaton). I haven't done much that sits in the intervening decades, but a couple of the pieces that link the prequel canon you've been reading to the main one are Workings of Fate (which is about how Charles met Edward Iveson at a really bad moment & it changed everything) while Interludes is about Emily Iveson (who becomes Liz Cardew in main canon).

My notebook is still solidly full of prequel stuff, though - this had been waiting half-typed for years, I don't know why! :-)

Ooh, the main canon. I had forgotten that this isn't always the Edward and Julia show. :)

Liesa is awesome.

LOL, let's face it, at this point, it kind of is the Edward and Julia show and how their ridiculous choices brought down the gov't.

I have never written Liesa half enough. Or Anna for that matter.
