I think for me personally, I hate world-building, so I tend to stay away from more fantastical concepts just because I'd have to create my own universe and it takes the fun out of writing for me. But I love reading that stuff because it's something I wish I could do!

In any case, I'm very much looking forward to reading your work! It's been far too quiet here as of late.
