And winning the category of things that seemed like a good idea at the time... Good luck with the rest of the writing! :-)

Oh, Devyn is so good at making choices that seem good at one time and end up being terrible.

And thank you! I ended up not focusing much on TGO for NaNoWriMo...but that just means I'll have much more to explore here. :) (I actually discovered I'd rather explore my novel on here through prompts than sit down and write everything out in order...hm!)

An excellent trait in a protagonist! ;-)

And, ha, is that runaway_tales being a good or bad influence now? But still, I hope NaNo went well & am glad to see you back. It's been very quiet during NaNo - everyone vanishes to write a novel.

It did, thank you! I didn't actually write a novel but I did hit over 50,000 words, which is good enough. And I had noticed it had gotten quiet! It'll be that much easier for me to catch up but I do miss seeing all the people & new pieces.

(And I think runaway_tales is being a very good influence considering the amount it makes me want to write!)

Oh, he's so different from who I thought he was to begin with... But who else can he be, given his start in life and his circumstances?

I'm curious to know just who you thought Devyn was!

I believe I was confusing him with Gabriel. I did like Gabriel. You know how some characters are hot even though the author gives you no idea what they look like?

Ah, okay, I see. Gabriel existed very briefly (and I doubt I'm going to do more pieces in detail about Genevieve's brief foray into college) but I enjoyed his existence while it lasted! And ha! I totally know what you mean. Gabriel had quite the fan-following in his college.
