Radial: UnravelChallenge: Flavour of the Day - Serein: fine rain falling after sunset from a sky in which no clouds are visible.
Extra: Pocky
Word Count: 100
Summary: Light drizzle has a different effect on each man.
Notes: I know that only today's counts as the actual FOTD, but I wrote all these on the appropriate days... I just wasn't in a position to sit down and post them at the time. :p On the up side though, I had a birthday, a two day weekend for the first time since Christmas, and then got to pay for both with lots of work yesterday. \o/
Light drizzle pattered over Milos’s skin. To his right, Alex grimaced. “Fuck, that’s all we need.”
After the oppressive heat, he couldn’t really complain. “It’s not so bad.” Understatement of the year, in fact-it was a blessed relief-but Alex’s snort indicated he felt otherwise. “You just don’t like it because it’s wet.”
Alex snorted again, this time lacking conviction. “It’s only dew falling, not rain.”
Milos shrugged. The grass was comfortable despite the damp spreading through his jeans. “Still nice.”
Alex smirked. “Soak all you want. I’ve got an umbrella.”
With that attitude, it’d be a long night...

Radial: UnravelChallenge: Flavour of the Day - Fink: an informer; a contemptible or thoroughly unattractive person.
Extra: Pocky
Word Count: 100
Summary: Sometimes life would be easier if civilian law enforcement and Alex didn't have such major personality clashes...
“What part of ‘I’m a government agent’ don’t you understand? Do you need to see my card again, or are you just terminally stupid?”
“No need to resort to insults, sir-”
“-Plainly there is-”
“-but I’ve never seen a governmental ID like yours.”
“So call someone competent and check,” Alex snarled between gritted teeth.
Milos sighed and slumped against the wall, hands shoved into his pockets. It wouldn’t be so bad if their errant target, a smirking banshee, wasn’t some ten feet away after crying to this policeman they were harassing her.
Still, Alex getting arrested might be funny too.

Radial: UnravelChallenge: Flavour of the Day - Cacography: bad handwriting; poor penmanship.
Extra: Pocky
Word Count: 100
Summary: Alex is testing Milos's handwriting in the best way he knows how. Whether Milos agrees it's the best is another matter entirely...
“This is-ah-impossible!”
“Your handwriting is appalling.”
“How-ahh-do you expect me to write like this?!”
“If you work with me,” Alex grinned against Milos’s neck, “I expect you to be able to write anywhere.”
Milos moaned as Alex thrust into him again, jolting his pen hand until his scrappy handwriting was almost illegible. “Why’d you-nnn-think I’ll need to write like this…?”
He felt Alex’s grin grow. “We’ve worked together how long?”
A point that went completely ignored: Milos came, whimpering, spattering over the paper.
Alex tsked softly. “Now you’re going to have to start again...”

Radial: UnravelChallenge: Flavour of the Day - Ameslan: American Sign Language
Extra: Pocky
Word Count: 99
Summary: To his horror, Milos's new class list has come through-which gives Alex an even greater variety of ways to insult him.
Milos gaped down at the paper left casually on his desk. “More classes?”
Alex smirked. “You expected a holiday?”
“I’ve only just had exams,” he pouted, glaring at the sheet. “And what’s ‘Ameslan’ anyway?”
The hand gestures Alex made left him none the wiser, which seemed to amuse the human. “American Sign Language. You’ve got BSL too.”
“Why do I have to do both? I’m not going to-”
“-Same reason you do French. Different language.” Alex shrugged, making another deceptively simple gesture.
“I can understand that one,” Milos grumbled.
“Really?”
“You called me a moron.”
Alex grinned. “Close enough.”
