Notes: To quote Becca, “Oh, the dance of romance.” Lilah and Inara dance ballet.
“I know sixty-fourth notes are a pain in la derrière, ladies, but we must hit this arabesque at the same time. Look at your fellow dancers. I see only two making eye contact-Inara and Lilah,” said the gray-eyed, silvery-blonde instructor as she walked about the floor in pointed-toe steps. “Remember, this is emotional, inter-connective. You all depend on each other. Match each others' breaths. Meet each others' eyes. Again, from the top.”
Lilah could look into Inara's charcoal-smoke eyes for hours, as cliché as it sounded. Inara met hers with a nod and they hit the sixty-fourth note together, smiling.
