Summary: Gillies is trying to awaken Dormouse's powers.
Notes: Meanwhile, on the other side of the world (like California) from Mosaruun and Idurien... XD We have Olivia "Liv" Gillies, a warrior from the Realm of Air, and Alexis "Dormouse" Rey, a tiny and quiet homeless girl, who finds out that she is much, much more.
“I can’t do this, anymore.”
The tiny black-haired girl collapsed to her knees, exhausted. Gillies looked down at her with one arm crossed over her chest, and one hand playing pensively with her chin.
“You can’t stop now, Alexis. You need to do this. You need to get this right.”
“Look. I’m not your… Wind Goddess, or whatever you claim me to be. I’m just me.”
“Elemental of the Realm of Air.” Gillies corrected. “Yes you are. You just have to remember. And in order for you to do that, I need you to focus.”
“I’m tired.” The small girl sighed. “Can’t we continue this tomorrow?”
“Only once you’ve given me even a tiny sign that you’re at least trying.”
“I am trying!”
“Not hard enough. Come on, Alexis. Show me what you’ve got.”
Dormouse gritted her teeth and pushed herself up from her knees atop of the hill. She glanced up at the stars that began appearing above as she sky gradually got darker. She shut her eyes with a sigh then jumped when she received a small shock. When she opened her eyes, she glared hard at Gillies.
“Oww!”
“Come on.” Gillies coaxed as she flicked her fingers in Dormouse’s direction. A tiny bolt of static flew at the tiny girl, giving her yet another shock. “Show me that you’re the Elemental of the Realm of Air. Show me that you’re a Sylph.”
“Liv!” Dormouse scolded as she jumped back. “Stop it!”
“Not until you show me what you’ve got.” The blonde woman replied.
The tiny woman glared, and her eyes faintly glowed white. A gust of wind picked up from out of nowhere. Gillies grinned.
“There we go.”
