Her face was stained with tears but she was glaring rather murderously at the Mercenary leader.
“Are we in agreement, then?” he asked.
The woman growled and launched herself angrily at Idurien.
“Hold up, buttercup.”
She may have been quick to attack, but Mosaruun’s reflexes were quicker. He grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back. She started sobbing again.
“As you make your bed, so must you lie upon it.” Idurien said as he walked away. “Clean her up.” He added to the redhead. “We turn her in tomorrow.”
She cried harder.
“You’re such a chore.” Mosaruun sighed.
