Summary: A friend talks about her future boyfriend.
(I got this idea into my head ad had to write it. Enjoy!
"Ella, do you see him?" asked the curvy blonde.
"No, Eve. I don't." said the brunette.
"He's the hottle in the black leather jacket and the snug fit jeans standing by
the stone wall."
"So, what do you want with him?"
Eve twirled her blond lock around her fingers. "He's going to be my boyfriend.
I envy you, Ella."
"Why?"
"You don't seem to care if you have a man or not. I don't blame you with
your short pudgy frame, matronly wardrobe, and no sense of style. It would be
hard for you to get a man in your condition."
"Excuse me?"
"I'm sorry it needed to be said. I am curvy, but I've taken care of myself."
Then stopped and said "Oh," said Eve, fluffing her hair. "Sexy is coming this
way."
The man in question walked over to where
they stood and Eve said "Hi!" while Ella
said nothing, keeping her head down.
"Hi, I'm Evan," he said, a warm smile
on his face.
Eve smiled. "Hi, Evan."
"You know, you shouldn't talk to your friends that way by putting them down."
"What?"
Then Evan turned to Ella and said "Hey, would you like to go out for some hot
chocolate?"
"Excuse me? Why are you talking to her for?"
Evan grinned then and said "Because I'm Ella's boyfriend." Then he winked.
"Aren't you glad you asked?"
"But--But--" said Eve, her mouth gaping open.
Even then pulled Ella in his arms. "So hot chocolate, gorgeous?"
Ella smiled and said "Yes," as she kissed him before they walked away from
a still stuttering Eve. Once they were out of sight, Eve stomped her feet and
said "But he's mine!!!"
