Same scene as Kiss & Make Up from the Kairn/Lyssa binge but that's something I still haven't properly covered, so I figured it was fair game.
Kairn pushed Lyssa up against the wall and she stared at him, her mouth open wide in astonishment.
“What’s gotten into you?” she said, her eyes darting between his hands as he laid them to either side of her, pinning her in front of him.
He wished he could answer, but it was hard to think over the smell of her and the rumbling purr that filled his head, and what came out of his mouth instead was, “You.”
Lyssa’s chest heaved against him and her breath flowed hot over his lips as he leaned in for a kiss.
