This prompt really should have been Kairn torture, but I promised myself I would explore new plotty options with all 30 pocky, so it's not.
“What are you waiting for?” Reida craned her neck to try to peer at the line of half-finished sigils just beneath her navel.
“I don’t want to smudge it.”
Kairn expected her to yell, but she just adjusted her grip on the waist of her pants and sighed.
“You could have asked Sethan.” He added another stroke and retreated again.
“Then he’d know just how much Ephram fucked me up this time.”
“You look fine to me.” There wasn’t a mark on her Kairn hadn’t painted. “And why would Sethan care?”
“I know he doesn’t” Reida snapped. “But I do.”
