This felt kind of cheap since it doesn't really add anything new, but I couldn't come up with anything better for the prompt.
The last block fell with a clatter that echoed off the walls of the silent temple in which Kairn now found himself standing.
Holding his breath and clutching his throbbing hand against his chest, he watched as the colors flowed along the sigils etched into the floor, racing towards the central altar like streams of water down the drain of a tub.
The light swelled into a blinding flare as the lines converged around the statue, and then, as abruptly as it had begun, it was gone.
Kairn fell to his knees amidst the rubble as the temple vanished.
