Summary: Chris couldn't think of a better way to come home.

Notes: Hello! While school slowly sucks the life away from me have some Chris/Albert fluff. :) Adam will have a story soon I promise it's just I love these two so much! Well, enjoy!
Chris walked in the living room with a relieved sigh. He survived another day with the new recruits. He hoped his luck continued throughout the week. Chris tossed his hat and jacket on the couch when his nose picked up the smell of smoke.
“What the--” Chris frowned and ran over to the kitchen. He held up his hands, ready to put out the fire, when he saw Albert standing in front of the stove with a sniggering Susie.
“I can’t believe you burnt it. How did you do that?” Susie asked.
“If I knew I would have an answer for it. I just wanted to make something for Chris when he comes home, but I messed it up.” Albert frowned and looked into the pot again.
“I don’t think Potion brewing and cooking are the same thing.” Susie said as she peered into the pot.
“It has similar characteristics. I just used a little magic to help it along, like you do a potion.”
“Yeah I don’t think that’s supposed to happen.”
Albert sighed and cut the stove off. “Oh well, I’ll have to think of something else.” He pulled the pot away and walked over to the sink when he caught Chris standing in the doorway.
“Oh, um, hi Chris.” Albert flushed and quickly placed the pot in the sink.
“Hey Al, Hey Susie.” Chris smiled and walked over to place a kiss on Albert’s cheek.
“Hiya Chris! We were trying to make you something, but I’m sure you see how that turned out.” Susie sniggered as Albert shot her another glare.
“Hush! I tried! I just didn’t think it would be so difficult.” Albert groaned and crossed his arms over his chest.
Chris grinned and gave him a quick kiss. “You tried to make something for me?”
Albert nodded and leaned against his chest. “I did, but I burnt it as usual.”
Chris wrapped his arms around Albert and lightly squeezed him. “It’s okay. I do appreciate the intent behind it.”
“Really?” Albert looked up hopefully.
“Really.” Chris nodded and leaned down for a kiss.
Albert smiled against his lips and wrapped his arms around his neck. Chris closed his eyes and pulled Albert closer.
“I see you two are going to be busy. I’ll see you at the normal restaurant for dinner?” Susie asked.
Albert nodded as his fingers slid into Chris’s hair.
“Sounds good.” Susie smiled and floated out the room.
Chris deepened the kiss and moved Albert out of the kitchen. There was nothing better than coming home to the people he loved.
Besides, he could always clean that pot later.
