here. Not sure how well I do passionate scenes, so any concrit on that would be great.
Lips smash against lips in a dizzy mania, everything spinning around and around until the young woman can't tell what anything is anymore, only that he's there and she's there and they're both so close-maybe a bit too close for comfort, not that she wants to do anything about it. She dare not, lest she ruin this perfect moment. The man wraps his arms around her waist and their lips meet again, quieter this time but no less ardent. She's throwing all she has into this, and she knows that he must be, too-how else could he make her feel so alive?
It had all come on so suddenly; there was no room for gradual or subtle. That is more Merlin's fault than hers-the man's emotions run so high, she can't help but succumb to these overwhelming passions of his. Normally, she would be careful to stop, think, evaluate, take things slowly and in moderation, but normally she would not be in love with a man who could make time stand still and mold the world to his fancy.
So dazzling, so beautiful, so powerful...
“Love,” he murmurs, pulling her even closer in. She can hear his heartbeat. “You take my breath away.” He smiles, and she does too. How had her heart ever loved till now? All other memories of happiness paled in comparison to this. Euphoria. Heaven. She rests her head against his chest.
“Don't let go,” she says. “Don't you dare.”
“I won't.” She sighs as he begins to stroke her hair, her emotions somewhere far beyond mere contentment. She looks up at him, hand tracing the line of his perfectly-chiseled jawbone.
A small remnant of the cautious, rational girl that she used to be reminds her that everything has to end someday, that there may never be another moment like this again. But the lover inside her has other ideas, and as she gazes into his midnight blue eyes, Nimuë knows that if she found a way to keep him here forever, she would.
