Dragos watched the waves from the shore. He had spent the day collecting the shells. Only the finest shells would do for today.
He whispered his secrets into each one before throwing them into back into the icy water.
He always spent anniversary of his birth whispering his wishes for the coming year to the Nereids. One for each of the fifty daughters of Nereus were returned to the sea. They would keep his secrets safe.
He always saved the last wish to be the first of the Dieu to shun a horse drawn carriage in favor of the sea.
