The night sky shone brighter than any other sky she'd ever seen, day or night. The stars were different in Andromeda. The light they gave off was iridescent and reflected off of everything. The whole world was lit up by them.

There were also two moons. It was strange, yes, but breathtaking when you looked at it. So much color and so much light and so much beauty all around-how could anyone possibly prefer Earthworld to this?

She dug her hand into her pocket at pulled out the astrology section of some Earthworld newspaper she had no idea how she had picked up. She glanced at the section for today.

It's a happy Tuesday under a sociable and creative Libra Moon. Tonight's Moon/Jupiter trine is one of the best for the expression of love and understanding for couples.

And then below:

Singles, make friends not lovers. Venus is about to go direct, and things change as early as tomorrow.

Her eyes rested on the boy sitting next to her, the boy who was slumped over with exhaustion, his head resting on the wooden table. Fate had brought them together; why would fate then decide to keep them apart? She glanced back at the horoscope and then at the boy and finally out the window. The rain was clearing up. They should be heading back to their respective dormitories by now.

The stars were different in Andromeda. That meant the horoscopes were different, too.

She leaned over and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
