Summary: What happened after Adria was sucked into the wormhole that day?

It was quite a spectacular crash landing, even though Adria had attempted to dive and roll upon exiting what she considered the wormhole though which she came. A sickening crunch was heard as she hit the ground, breaking her arm, and she screamed in pain as the blinding white heat of the break seared though her arm. Her head felt heavy and she felt her consciousness trying to slip away from her. Taking a deep breath, she looked around and tried to focus. Where was she? Was it really a wormhole that brought her here, and if it was, here could be anywhere! Wormholes were still largely theoretical, and so the idea of a real wormhole excited Adria. Her arm, however, was acting like reality knocking at the door after a particularly good movie, and it wasn’t good. She hugged it tight to her chest to minimise the pain, even if it was only a placebo. Taking another quick look around she decided that she needed to move. The area she was in was vast and continued for as far as the eye could see. To her it looked like a desert, but there was not a palm tree or an oasis anywhere to be seen. There was only sand. Trying not to become discouraged she decided to head in the direction of the sunset, because that way - not matter how long she was lost, she would have sunlight for as long as it was possible. Until now, the gravity of her situation had not really occurred to her, that is, as of yet she had not started to panic. However, as she walking through the miles and miles of countless desert, she fell and landed on her arm, and she screamed out in pain once again. In fact this did not just happen once or twice, as she became more and more tired she began to trip and fall almost every five minutes. The tears were straining against her lids, and she began to feel hopeless. She sun was beginning to fade, and still she had no idea where she was. She had fallen down once more, but this time she did not get up. Instead he just kneeled on the ground and began to cry, tears of pain and fear. She thought she might die out here, and she was terrified. And it was just about to get worse. When she finally stood to her knees she stood deathly still, and listened as hard as she could. It was beginning to become difficult to see, and so her other senses had kicked in. She could feel a presence, somewhere around her, but she wasn’t quite sure what it was. Nothing happened for quite a while, Adria was just standing there, still and quite, holding her broken arm steady, and trying not to breathe, and then within seconds it happened - she was surrounded. It had happened so quickly Adria had not had time to react, and to make matters worse, Adria noticed that she was surrounded by a team of people carrying very large guns.
