Why? Yes, I completely understand Laura's reasons not to want to start a relationship with Kevin but still, I was hoping for them to get together all throughout this, even after she had told him why it wouldn't work. They are so great together and who knows if she'll ever find a guy who likes Firefly again? ('cause I made Matze watch Firefly and he didn't fall asleep but he didn't seem to like it much, either). The only argument of hers that made sense to me was that he's rather immature but that shouldn't be a reason (at least not to me because they are so great together).

I wonder how things change at the end of this. He probably won't be coming over three times a week anymore.

I loved this but it's just so mean that you made me really want to see them together but then didn't do it :P

Sooooo my first response to your comment was to cackle evilly and finger steeple. :D

I don't want to talk about where I see this going TOO much since I'm trying to write it, but I did write it for a reason and I love them together myself. The first malt I slapped on this is basically my feelings on this whole time period for them. They're not ready for it yet. But I'm glad you liked it!

I've always felt like Kevin gets a little neglected compared to the rest of the cast. I like getting to see so much more of him here, and the two of them are so sweet all the way through this. BUT THE END!!!! WHY? Someone needs to convince her not to be so judgmental and give him a chance!

I LOVE writing Kevin and I hope to write a lot more of him in the near future. I said most of what I wanted to say about the follow-up to Nath already, but I'm going to add that Laura's not a lot better off than Kevin right now, it's just easier for her to evaluate him than herself. (The swearing, though, really is a dealbreaker for her--she honestly can't stand it.)

Oh, I LOVED this piece! Though I'll agree with the others that the end was kind of AUGH, it made total sense that Laura would handle things that way. So I'm just frustrated at her, not you the author ;) I also wonder how things end. I'd love to see the weeks/months that follow this.

But, anyway this was just lovely-the way you built up all these encounters to the moment when they kissed. And you made me sad with the end, haha. So, success!
