I love Max. The killer boots and the "work-related" kiss were the best...and the gay bar - you need to write that one some time.

I will. It's one of the many times where Max feels somewhat humiliated. Helena can be quite a bully and Rip loves to see people humiliated though he isn't quite as bad.

This Max is much better than my Max. He's just so cute. And I can so totally see Regan bullying him.

I'm in love with Max. Pretty much everyone bullies him but he's okay with it. Helena and Regan are probably the worst.

Nice! The progression of their relationship is sweet, and for some reason I really love the detail of Max having to look up Kennedy's first name the first time he tries to comfort her.

I had so much trouble cramming that bit about Max looking up her name in that part but it was too important to just leave out. They are strangers at this point and I think him looking up the name and calling her first name is when they really develop a connection. That's the part I put the most thought into (and whether to have him call her by both her last names or which one to use).

They are surprisingly healthy (unlike a lot of my other couples).
