She did, actually. In Sacraments. It wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been, I think. And Gina will always worry for her babies, I think, but the world changes just a bit, every day, for the better. So.

Thank you!

Aw, this is so Gina, and so beautiful. I'm so happy she's happy now, and I have absolutely no doubt that she's going to do everything in her power to ensure her children find that too. Lovely story. :)

Oh, yes she will. If you think Ivy as Mama Bear was scary, you should see Gina.

Thank you!

Just lovely. I like the hope in it, despite that things haven't changed as much as Gina would like them to.

The world sometimes changes slower than she wants. But she is aware that it's always changing, and most of the time changing for the better.

Thank you!

I love the warm wisdom throughout the piece, punctuated with the sharpness of the points she's driving home. I know Gina's far from juvenile at canon point, but there's an overriding maturity in her writing that says so much-- and I like the hopefulness too, like kay_brooke.

Thank you! She does hope, for her children and for herself. But mostly I'm glad she could reclaim her religion, because it was a big thing for her.
