Reida is always so amusing and she has some great lines in this. "I’m more likely to smite you than any god." I laughed at that and the bit about the rats.

And I want to know just what the relationship between Reida and Kuro is.

thanks :) If she wasn't actually going to get to smite anyone, she was at least determined to get in a few jabs.

Kuro is Kinu's son and Reida's boy toy assistant in her caramel adventures.

Reida's building agitation makes her funnier and funnier-- and then when it suddenly breaks into evil glee at her brilliant idea, it's just fantastic. XD I like Kuro, too, holding his ground about this.

More of the goddess face! Does Reida live in a clay bod now? Or ex-clay, anyway...

I think I just love tormenting all my characters. Getting a rise out of Reida is just as easy as getting one out of Kairn, it just requires forcing her to be civil. I'm not sure how Kuro manages to put up with her, I think I need to play with him some more.

I felt kind of bad putting this right after the other one, it really makes it obvious, doesn't it? But yes, Reida's not quite herself.

thanks :)

holy crap, the end!! I'm so curious now! What did Reida do to end up looking like one of the goddess statues?? I guess things didn't go according to plan earlier? (Or...maybe they did? haha!)

Kuro and Reida seem to have...an interesting relationship. I like their interactions in any case-how he prays and she scoffs at him but he doesn't really let it deter him. I would definitely read more Kuro in the future :D

Candy?

When do things ever go according to plan? ;) Actually, I suppose Tristan's god's backup plan works, and that's where Reida's fate comes from.

I think I'm still just feeling him out, but I like him so far (he seems to be a bit more level-headed than his father) I might have to play with him more.

thanks :)

Oh, this is interesting right after the previous piece! So Reida is in the clay body?

But still Reida, I see. Walking out was probably a smart thing to do. Poor Kuro.

May I have some candy?

Not clay, but still synthetic - it's the same as the one Sethan makes for his god towards the end of the main canon. And definitely still Reida.

Without magic, random destruction is too much effort and too risky for Reida's liking. I'm not sure yet where or how she picked up Kuro, but I think he had at least a clue what he was getting into.

thanks :)

I need to go read that other piece now. This was a nice, fun dialogue piece that made me happy to read some Reida and then came the end that's making me reallz curious.
