WHAT THE HELL IS REIDA DOING?!

I figured it was Sethan (most powerful man) but I have no idea what's going on there.

I see a pattern with Ski. She has all these rules and yet somehow, she always rushed into relationships with men and has sex instead of talking about what's bothering her.

Sham and Mara are just sooo cute. Lyssa would be cheering them on and I'd be right besider her.

And even as grown men after everything they've been through, Sethan and Kairn have chemistry. Interesting :P He blindfolds him and gets him a boat...

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the first one got to me so much. I'm an emotional person so I might have almost shed a tear while reading the first one.

I'll defend Ski a little and point out that those are the only two romantic relationships she ever had, so it's not like she's out picking guys up all the time like some people. But it is probably a fair assessment of how she handles life in general. She has all these rules but she bends to everyone else so easily. She's easily just as messed up as Lyssa, she just likes to pretend otherwise

ehm. I thought I might just join in on this thread, since Nat raised all the right questions, namely, when you say she's inviting Cheva to come play, I'm pretty sure you don't mean that in the normal way. I mean, its Reida. Elaborate? :D
Also, who is Lonna? Have I missed something there?
I really loved Lyssa through these pieces, especially the first one, since I've been waiting for her happy ending for ages. She deserves it, after all she's been through. Ski was also adorable, both with Rune and Tristan, though I loved Tristan's "I don't care" thing. <3 u Tristan! :P
The last part was adorable too: I am still trying to figure out the Sethan/Karin Canon relationship...

I'm going to be evil and not elaborate on Cheva at this point, because I haven't gotten to that yet aside from teasers. There is a section in Ties That Bind towards the end that refers to the same thing.

Lonna is a super super minor character. I don't know if you're familiar with the royals at all? Ski was originally supposed to marry Terrel, one of the princes. Dalton (youngest prince) was married to Ilya (knight in Ski's squad). Ski gets out of marrying Terrel after he gets Lonna pregnant and has to marry her instead. After Ilya's death, Dalton and Lonna have a lengthy affair. I'd really like to get back to Ski's story some - which means Dalton will be making more appearances, so I wanted to include him a bit in this series.

anyway...

Everyone gets their happy endings...eventually (that sure made the whole wedding theme easy!) lol at the Tristan love. I need to figure him out and write him more for you ;)

And I think Sethan and Kairn are still trying to figure out the whole Sethan/Kairn canon relationship ;)

Okay, the bit with Sham and Mara made me giggle. Lyssa would so totally be cheering them on. I love the sweetness that runs through the majority of these (the Reida one aside). And that last one! Kairn getting so excited is just so cute.

Mara and Sham were HARD because I haven't really gotten to them having any sort of romance yet. I'm glad it worked. And yes, she so would.

Reida couldn't let a piece about passion go without her own sick brand of it.

And his being so excitable is one of the things that makes Kairn fun to write. At least I let him get worked up about something good this time!

So the 1278 section was deeply creepy.

Sham and Mara's made me laugh, though, but I think Kairn and Lyssa's was my favorite just because of the last paragraph. And I love the two 1280 sections bookending the whole thing! It's an interesting contrast and also shows how far all the characters have come. :D

Sham and Mara were hard, I didn't really have a clue what to do with them, so I'm really glad it worked.

They get their happy endings, even Kairn :)

The first part is probably my favorite in the whole set, and felt like just the right way to kick it all off. I've wanted to do something with that for a long time but never gotten to it.

The first section was lovely. Mara and Sham made me laugh, and I love Kairn and Sethen's relationship. I like how so much character comes out in these pieces.
