Notes: I want to thank everyone who commented and read my anon piece. I read many pieces and they were fantastic! I meant to write more of Adam and his crew, but Tsukino wanted me to continue. XD Well enjoy! This piece follows: Dates

Tsukino nervously scrolled through the phonebook on her cell. She stopped at Kazu’s name.

Call me

She remembered the words clearly, after they exchanged numbers at the end of the reception.

That was three days ago.

Tsukino reassured her friends that she would call Kazu and set up a date, any type of date. However, there was one problem. The idea of calling Kazu terrified her. Kazu wasn’t a bad guy. Kazu was great. Tsukino could still see his short black hair in it’s elegant style. The way his brown eyes twinkled when he laughed. His sincere smile, not the fake smiles Miki’s guests threw her way.

The memories did nothing to calm her nerves.

“I can’t do it!” Tsukino threw the phone down on the couch, curling up at the other end.

“Tsuki! He said call me, so call him!” Rumiko exclaimed, shoving the phone back in Tsukino’s hands.

Tsukino shook her head. “I can’t do it! It has to be a joke!”

“Kazu isn’t like that. He’s very nice and sweet. His only crime is being adorable, like you.” Kaori stood up from the chair and walked over. She leaned over and tapped her blue fingernail against the screen. “Call him,”

Tsukino pulled her hair. “What am I going to tell him?”

“Hi, how are you? That sounds about right.” Rumiko said.

Kaori nodded. “Yes it does,”

“No, I’m going to mess it up, I know it!” Tsukino pushed the phone away causing Rumiko and Kaori to sigh in exasperation. They loved Tsukino, they really did, but there were times they wanted to shake some sense into her. Of course, they would never do that, saying it only relieved stress.

“What are you going to do, ignore him?” Rumiko asked.

“That will hurt him. He likes you,” Kaori said.

Tsukino peeked through her fingers. “H-He does?”

“Yes!” Rumiko and Kaori exclaimed.

Tsukino squeaked and buried her face in a pillow.

Rumiko sighed softly, placing her face in her hands. Kaori rubbed, soothing circles on Tsukino’s back. They didn’t know how to get Tsukino to dial the phone.

“Tsuki?”

All three women turned to Minako who stood in front of them.

Tsukino looked up cautiously at Minako. “Yes?”

Minako handed her the phone. “Call for you,”

Tsukino cleared her throat and placed it to her ear. “Hello,”

“Hi Tsukino,”

“K-Kazu,”

“Hey, I’m glad I got the right number.”

“I am too,”

“So, how are you?”

“I’m fine, what about you?” Tsukino hated how young she sounded. It didn’t sound like it bothered Kazu.

“I’m good. I’ll be better when I see you again.”

Tsukino flushed, she quickly left the couch and walked out the room.

Rumiko and Kaori grinned when the door to Tsukino’s room closed.

“That was great Mina.” Rumiko said.

“How did you get Kazu on the line?” Kaori asked.

Minako grinned. “He called the house phone because he couldn’t get to her cell phone. Being the helpful person that I am--”

Rumiko snickered as Minako rolled her eyes. “Anyway, as I was saying, being the helpful person that I am, I told Kazu this was the correct home and Tsukino forgot to charge her phone. I like Kazu and I think he’s good for our Tsuki.”

“Me too, but she’s too afraid to pick up the phone. I don’t know how she’s going to keep talking to Kazu.” Rumiko bit her nail in concern.

“We do what we always do, help Tsuki. This time we won’t have to worry about Miki.” Minako said.

Rumiko nodded. “Too true,”

Kaori smiled. We can help Kazu too.
