Notes: Takes place in June 2008. My second piece for Summer Challenge - 7/2.
Story: Phase; the title of this is "You Make Loving Fun."
Summary: Oz begins to move on from Jakob.
Andy's smile made his heart stop. He didn't realize it at first, considering the first time he had met Andy had been completely professional. They had talked, about where he wanted the tattoo, what he wanted, and a vague, short conversation of why. Oz hadn't been able to get it done that day, but did schedule an appointment for a few days later.
He saw Andy again before that. It was completely coincidental, seeing him (and how could he not see him) at the same coffee shop. So he went up to him, said hello, and then Andy smiled, and his heart stopped. And suddenly he was sixteen again, with another tall, gorgeous boy with blue eyes and a smile that made his heart do funny things, and Oz didn't know what to do about that at all. He managed a short conversation with Andy before finding some excuse to leave, and managed to hold in most of his panic before he made it home.
He didn't have any bright ideas of how to fix it when he did get to his apartment, but at least he was allowed to pace and fret and wonder what the hell was going on with him in solitude. For a moment, Oz desperately wished he had someone to talk to. But Brianna was gone, and Jakob was gone. He considered calling Trisha though they hadn't talked in years, just for a moment, before he quickly pushed that thought away. No. She didn't need him bothering her, or reminding her. So what did he do now?
Damn it.
