Summary: Angie gets Rayne flowers.
It was one of the first good things she had done in years, but it was still tainted. It was easy to simply pluck a few tulips from a sidewalk stand. They were bright yellow, and pretty; they looked out of place in her hands.
Angie managed to keep them from being damaged all the way to Rayne’s apartment. She lived in a walk-up, something small, dirty, where she seemed horribly out of place. Angie fit right in. Yet, the way Rayne’s smile lit up when she saw the tulips... It made her feel like she might be good enough.
