Notes: I love writing Bernard and the others when they're younger. It's so much fun. I hope I did this word right. I had a lot of scenarios that would work out for later. I hope nothing is too confusing. Well enjoy! Comments are welcome! :)

“Bernard,” Albert said walking into the art room.

Bernard looked up stopping his conversation with Miyano, Victor, and Cathy over a new part of the school for a second base. “Yeah,”

“Gary sent over a new messenger.” Albert said.

“Oh really, male or female this time?” Bernard asked.

“Female.” Albert said.

Bernard smiled. “Wonderful, get Cedric and tell him. He’ll know what to do. Ok everyone time to get ready.” He pulled his hair out of it’s ponytail, letting it rest on his shoulders. He pushed a few strands over his eyes, undoing his shirt until the black beater showed.

Cathy smiled. “I’ll go get him. I love when you guys do this.”

Miyano chuckled. “I had no idea flirting could be this fun.” He brushed his claws through his hair taking the braid out.

Victor smirked. “It’s very fun. I love the reaction each time.” He messed up his hair until bangs covered his eyes.

Whenever Gary sent over a messenger Bernard and the others would put on their best charms. The demon ended up so flustered, they would forget the message. If they were around Cedric or Mary Anne, they would babble the message and a little more information. Cedric and Mary Anne were Mius, Ice Demons that specialized in attraction. Most demons didn’t stand a chance. A human was even more fair game. Bernard loved seeing Gary’s glare in the hallway every time.

Cedric walked over in dark blue jeans and a tight t-shirt with dog tags around his neck. He pushed back his sunglasses with a smirk. “I heard Gary sent over another messenger.”

“Yeah a female one.” Bernard said.

Cedric smiled. “Great, I can’t wait to see her.”

Bernard grinned. “Me either.”

*~*~*

Christy stood in the front door nervously. She knew Gary counted on her to deliver the message, but the other side of the school always made her nervous. Christy looked up when the door opened again and Albert appeared. He smiled at the way she looked over his black jeans, dark blue blazer, and white shirt. Albert cleared his throat softly. “Hello, sorry for the wait, please come in.”

Christy nodded trying not to stare at Albert when she walked in. Christy followed Albert over to the other side of the room. She couldn’t help, but notice the attractive demons they passed by. Christy gripped the message fighting the urge to go over and join the conversation.

“Bernard, Christy is here.” Albert said stepping to the side.

Bernard leaned forward giving his best smile, the one that showed his fangs. “Welcome Christy, how may I help you?”

Christy blushed trying not to stare at the muscles hidden behind the shirt. She didn’t make a note about the way the beater stretched across Bernard’s chest or the way his claws rested lightly on the chair. She swallowed, in search of her voice.

“Would you like something to drink? Cedric, ask our guest what she would like.” Bernard said.

“Of course, what would you like to drink my dear?” Cedric asked, walking over to Christy.

Christy’s eyes jumped to Cedric’s dog tags before going back to his light gray eyes. “Um, may I have a glass of water?” She squeaked.

“Anything you like.” Cedric said. He picked up Christy’s hand, placing a light kiss on the surface.

Christy almost lost control of her legs. She was quite thankful for being a sky demon because she was going to need her wings soon.

Christy looked back up at Bernard. “I-I have a note from Gary.”

“How soon does he want it back?” Bernard asked.

“Soon, preferably by next week,” Christy said.

“I can write the response now, but you shouldn’t have to stand and wait. Let Miyano and Victor show you to some seats.” Bernard said.

Miyano and Victor walked over to Christy. Christy noticed Miyano’s loose fitted jeans, fitted green t-shirt, and black collar. She looked over to Victor taking in his loose button up shirt and black slacks.

Miyano grinned. “Please sit down.”

“You shouldn’t be on your feet.” Victor said leading Christy over to a chair. Christy sat down trying not to look around. I thought Bernard and his group was mean. They’re actually pretty nice.

“Here’s your water, miss.” Cedric held out a silver plate with an elegant glass on it.

Christy reached for it flashing Cedric a smile. “Thank you.”

Cedric grinned. “You’re welcome. Call me, if you would like anything else.”

“I-I will, thanks.” Christy muttered sipping the water.

Cedric nodded turning to go back into the kitchen. Christy looked at Cedric’s retreating form before turning to Bernard. She swallowed at the way Bernard sat. Legs crossed, a few strands of hair falling into his eyes, and his fingers twirling the pendant around his neck slowly.

Christy turned back to her water, missing Bernard’s smirk.

She’s a nice girl. Maybe I can convince her to come to our side after this. Bernard looked over the message to call for a compromise on a shared area.

Cathy watched from afar with Alene. She laughed. “Man, I love when they do this, don’t you?”

Alene nodded. “Yes, but Bernard is so sneaky. He knows what that does to me. Albert is no better and Cedric is just overkill.”

Cathy giggled. “I know, but it’s pretty fun to watch. I can’t wait for a male messenger.”

Alene smiled. “Me either.”

They turned back to watch. Nothing was better than watching everyone display their best attributes.
