It's so refreshing to see Sethan genuinely care about other people for once. He is so concerned about Kairn and doesn't want to harm him under any circumstances because no matter how much of a pain in the ass Kairn probably is like to Sethan sometimes, he is also his only real friend and I think that's what's preventing him from following Cheva!Shasa's orders.

Also, Sethan loses or at least a bit? That's a new one.

yellow egg?

I think if it wasn't Kairn he'd still defy her, he'd just leave rather than get in the middle of it. And things are actually bound to get a lot worse for Sethan before they get better.

thanks :)

Yipe. The interaction here is definitely unsettling and I feel bad for Sethan, having to deal with it. And for Kairn for getting into this mess in the first place (seriously, Kairn, good job there). This is not going to end well.

May I have the pretty pastel egg at the end?

Kairn really tried to set things right in the temple, but well, Reida is Reida...

I should come back to this before too long, the way it's going to end is something no one is expecting, even Sethan

thanks :)

Wow, a lot's been going on while I haven't been around. I like seeing Sethan feeling at a disadvantage. Also really love the line "Laughter fell from the trees again."

Yes, I've been trying to put a dent in the later part of the story. Kairn went and got himself turned into a god here (in the part linked at the top) something Sethan sure wasn't expecting ;)

thanks! :)

Oops! I think that kind of covers it. I hope Sethan can find a way to bring Kairn back safe and sound, for Shamino's sake as well as his. The sparing between the gods was very amusing. And Sethan with a water phobia? Curious... Nicely done :)

Stripy egg please?

I think it's pretty much out of Sethan's hands at this point. There's not really a lot of room for arguing with gods.

I didn't really mean to imply he was afraid of the water. He just wasn't keen on going for a swim at the moment.

thanks :)

Ah, possessed Kairn is very scary and un-Kairn-like! I like the effect his very imperial tone and words have, and Sethan's oh-so-casual dismissal of Cheva's orders. I also loved the description of Sethan tumbling down the bank, though much sadness as the thought of Kairn (even if it isn't Kairn) striking him like that.

What a mess. XD A very enjoyable one though!

May I have the blue egg at the top?

I feel really bad for him and yet there's some small idk justice? about Kairn lording it over Sethan, even if it's just for a moment and even if it's not really him. You're right though, that is sad, but I don't think Sethan will hold it against him.

thanks! :)
