Omg, all of these are so powerful. Especially Danny's.

Very excellent job!

Thank you so much! I was super nervous about this one, touchy subject and all, but I'm glad you seem to think that I handled it well. Big relief for my first comment. <3

Yup, that was what I was going for. That and "highly personal, highly circumstantial," which also seems to have made it through. Thank you; I'm considerably relieved now. <3

This is such a good look at the myriad of reasons why someone might or might not make this decision. I agree with Miyabi - it is such a difficult decision and really needs to be made after looking at all the angles - that's why I can't really blame Danny for her choice (that one hit hard too)

Yeah. It's a question of what's right for that particular woman in that particular situation. I really believe that generalizations are impossible here (which is why I went for the pocky chain). Thank you.

:( Danny got pregnant once? I can't even imagine how she must have felt when she found out. Florence's is breaking my heart too, it's really reminiscent of the Gina-is-straight AU and the badness that came with Grant. I think you handled this well--it's a very different situation for all five women, and they all have their reasons.

Just once. One-night-stand, broken condom, erratic birth control. She's never told anyone, not even Lars (and certainly not Michael). I don't think she even thinks about it very much. Florence's was one of the harder ones for me to write, I think partially because my cousin was in that situation, and partially because she just felt so trapped.

Yeah, the variety in situations was definitely something I was going for. Highly personal, highly circumstantial and such.

Thank you very much.

I still really like this fic; it handles all the different situations very well. I think the first is...well, saying 'my favorite' seems wrong, but it's the one I like best. Abortion is so often seen as this big, looming, imposing decision, and sometimes it is, but sometimes it's just not. Sometimes it's relieving. It's good to see that too.

Nice job.

Yeah. Sometimes it's not even a decision. For Joy's friend it certainly wasn't; it was the only way she could even begin to heal.

Thank you very much for all your help and support on this one. <3
