Karou Nara was one of the best psychics in Amulet. She had the power to see things before they happened. Karou used dreams, cards, and beads to help her. Unfortunately, she couldn’t control her power during the war. Karou saw many things that broke her heart.
A Shadow Demon betrayed by the Angel he trusted. His son and wife left to fend on their own.
A Sky Demon betrayed by his trusted advisor and friend. His family would break apart and be left to fight off their attackers.
A Light Demon protecting his sister as his parents fell around them.
A Fire Demon trying to keep it together while raising a family of his own and be a good leader.
A Water Demon would lose her throne, the love of her life, and beloved bracelet to her best friend.
A Wizard trying to find his place in Amulet among the pressures put on him.
A woman losing her life and family to a werewolf raid, set to roam the land as an unsettled ghost.
An Ice Demon who didn’t know the tasks he had to do to protect his little sister from harm.

All the events made Karou want to get rid of her power. She didn’t want to see things anymore. Karou sat in front of her mirror tears rolling down her cheeks slowly. She didn’t notice her children standing by the door. Sushi and Suzaku, her brother, never saw their mother so sad before. They hoped they wouldn’t receive the power of sight.
Many in Amulet, Arcadia, and Coven were surprised when Karou disappeared into solitude after the war. Sushi and her brother Suzaku weren’t they saw it coming.
