:( Poor Michael. I like this; it hits you in an unpleasant, but really realistic way. I love the line about the flowers and their smell - flowers always smell off at funerals, so that was a nice touch. I also like the little descriptions of the people - well done,

I think it's the formaldahyde combined with the flowers that makes that sick smell. Not sure, though; it's just something that I've noticed at every funeral I've ever been to.
