This is the "affair"? Ugh, sounds like Gail and Nathan have had quite the week and not in a good way. At least Nathan can laugh. Also, LOL palindrome. And Ivy and Jake. :D

It's been a bad week, yes. Fortunately most of the fallout from this little incident hits the paper for not sufficiently checking their facts, and Gail is more than useful enough to survive the rest.

Thanks!

*laughs maniacally...* =D

Jake steals the show in this, seriously. Did his mental images even come close to that? Nice job =D

Nope, no they did not. And he's very glad because he does not need to picture his boss and pseudo-mother in a compromising position. Ever.

Thank you!

Bahaha, I love that Nathan's reaction to the whole thing is just to LOL. By the way, I'm loving the Gail/Nathan streak lately, they're one of my favourite couples to read about. :D Nice one!

He trusts Gail, so he doesn't even blink at the affair thing, and also he thinks being totally unrecognizeable to the press is hilarious on multiple levels. Besides, the fallout is mostly going to hit the paper (because way to fail fact-checking 101, guys) and Gail is more than capable of weathering the rest (mostly by making sarcastic remarks about not finding it necessary to apologize for still being in love with her husband). So there's nothing left to do but laugh.

LOL, I hope you enjoy the more recent ones, then. Thanks!

Yup. Nobody'd sexed up anyone inappropriate or killed anybody or had a near-death experience or ANYTHING! They had nothing to write about. Horrors.

Jake is awesome. Even provides alibis on demand!

Thank you!
