Oh God, this is atmospheric in every single creepy, dark and generally freaky way. Ralphie being the most bastarding bastard ever written and Victor being so... blood-chilling... and poor Malcolm and his numbness and what he had to do. I just want to pluck him out of the page and put him in my pocket where he'll be safe.

Thank you very much! I was really trying to peg the depressive atmosphere so I'm glad that came across. Also, agreed completely on all three points - Malcolm would more than welcome you stealing him! Although I promise he does manage to escape and ends up very happy!

Mal accepts your apology in return for many smoothies :D Victor is really, really terrible and I need to arrange for him to die in a fire, badly (I wonder if Leigh would do me that favor :P). Oh, in a lot of ways, Victor is WAY worse than Chris, although they're also fairly similar.

A terrible, terrible day indeed. Ugh, Victor and Ralphie are just...I have no words. I hope they get what's coming to them.

Yeah, it really is a very, very bad day. I felt bad for doing it to him the whole time I was writing this! Victor and Ralphie are really terrible and I will say that Ralphie gets his. I haven't yet decided on Victor's eventual fate, but I would suspect he does too - he certainly deserves it!
