Daaaaaw, the last sentence gives such a sense of comradeship between them. And their snappy banter is priceless as always.

Also: nothing wrong with a bit of lampshade hanging! (Oh crap, TVtropes, there goes my morning...)

The banter in this is awesome. And yes, Rayn so does do that (and I think it's usually more awkward for him than Mike, which makes it all the more fun)

My favorite part had to be the argument about Mike's 'that was funny but I'm going to pretend it was stupid so I can feel superior' smile and his need to pretend to be serious. It was so perfectly Mike. Also, I am sensing his 'superiority' (or at least maybe just his being uptight?) has something to do with his breakup with Nathan. It seems like Roy hit an open wound there.

thank you! most of my reason for writing this was to write the banter, of course ;) though the part you mentioned was probably my favorite too. I'm not really sure where's Mike's 'superiority' thing comes from, but I think part of it is overcompensation for low self esteem? XD

Those two! I like the silliness and This is my Hugo Boss catalog look. Roy makes me laugh. I agree with Nina about there being nothing wrong with pointing out stuff you keep doing because such things do happen in real life.
