All I want is a room somewhere/ Far away from the cold night air...

That is a song that gets stuck in my head very easily. XD My friend was in a production of it last year and sang it all of the frigging time. Yep, the little ruffian has come a long way. :) Thanks!

I can imagine it getting stronger when his emotions are running high. I keep referring to it as cockney which is a bit naughty as I envision his accent more specifically as a north London lilt (as opposed to the east) but... it's the closest I can get in a single word. XD

My own knowledge of American regional accents is narrowed to "generic", "southern" and (my favourite) the New Yorker's accent so you're doing better than me. XDD It seems totally weird to me though, not knowing what a generic Welsh accent sounds like, let alone the specific regional ones! It's one of the most hilarious accents. And the Zummerzet one.
