that he adored her, loved her even

He does, dear. That would be why he ended it. :( I wish she'd just talk to him, but I guess it's not that simple.

I haven't written the scene where they make up yet but I'm looking forwards to it! Adele is so closed to the idea of relationships it's unreal. XD Thanks!

Oh, Adele. :( You do realize that he ended it because he's in love with you and he didn't think you were...? This is why being standoffish doesn't usually end well. Poor Adele and Isaac. I hope they manage to communicate soon.

I like the little details you picked out to show their intimacy, like her sleeping in his room, and him picking cotton from her hair. Adorable.

Both of them fail a bit at relationships, but Adele is especially good at screwing things up. XD Thanks!

I'm fond of Adele too, despite the things I put her through! I think I should write a scene where she drowns her misery in wine now that you've reminded me she also likes to drink. XD

She needs someone to sit her down and explain to her that she is in love with Isaac and that if she'd just admit it, he would be fine with rekindling that relationship that in her eyes they did not have.

At the same time I love that she is so unwilling to admit that she has feelings, as if admitting it would kill her. I think that's why I love her, because she wants to be so hard and unemotional yet she isn't.

Oh dear... It's a pity he had to walk away for her to finally realise that she loved him. I'm sure if she actually mentioned that fact it might help. Not many men cope well with 'just-sex-and-non-recipricol-feelings' forever; especially not if they're Issac Prowse...
