Oh man, I sympathize with Jenny so hard. It is not easy to be a service person and when people are creepy it just makes it so much worse.

That said? the dialogue is hysterical, oh goodness. Aaron and Maria being besties amuses me more than it probably should.

Holly Black is SO awesome. I love pretty much everything she says. In this case, however, they actually ARE serial killers and Brian is just thick as a brick.

If you like serial killers, you should really go through the Polyfaceted archives and read up on Maria. She's an awesomely self-aware serial killer, and she has rules for herself, and she's sort of weirdly awesome in a creepy way. I love reading stuff about her.

I loved the outsider's view on the two of them! XD And their dialogue... IT WINS. I don't even know what it wins. Things. Everything. It just wins in general.

And sociopath!Aaron makes me giggle uncontrollably. Just the thought...!

It's actually scarier than you'd think, for varied reasons. But I agree that their dialogue is awesome and that Aaron and Maria being creepy besties is AWESOME.

This made me laugh! Just because, seriously, Jenny doesn't have a brain... apparently. If you think they're serial killers, Jenny, don't stand where they can catch you evesdropping, okay.

So, now I'm wondering if they've done off Brian... =D

She doesn't stand where they can catch her eavesdropping. In fact, she actively tries not to be anywhere near them at all. Sometimes she just catches snippets.

And no, Brian is just an inconsiderate jerk. Maria and Aaron have more sense than to foul their own nest.
