wow, those last two paragraphs were surprising and powerful and feel like a child's way of reasoning. I like the description of Rory.

I kind of feel like writing more Rory. And it's total child's reasoning... I'll get around to writing more of Adele's childhood one of these days. Thanks!

Oh dear, you've just made me feel completely sorry for Adele! Wasn't sure that was entirely possible! Rory sounds rather cute and I agree, allergies to the sun are stupid AND unfortunate! *gives her a hug whether she likes it or not*

I keep on putting off writing about Adele's past, I don't really know why. XD Tragic backstories aren't really my thing and hers isn't exactly tragic but it did mess her up a bit...

Oh, wow, that last sentence. This looks like such a standard, Adele-is-pissed-at-the-world-and-everyone-in-it piece, and then you get to the last sentence and it's a punch in the gut. Brilliant job.

AHAHA that is rather a stupid allergy and I don't know how anyone who had it could live. Poor Rory.

And poor Adele, too :( :( :(
