Thank you! I'm glad you seemed to like them both. Cliff's not really had much time in the limelight, but thinking about it, he may be the most important character in the end, and even if Cyprian hasn't noticed it he has changed. I'm starting to realize the limitations of first person. -_-

YAY YOU HAVE POSTED AGAIN

Okay. Story number one! I love the balance you've achieved between funny and heartwrenching. My favorite is Cyprian's, because I will always love my Cranky Plant Dude, with... pretty much everyone in second place, but esp. Ragnar, because I believe that he would actually do that. Him and Jaida both.

Heh, that second story! I take it Jaida demanded protection money? Also, lol. Cliff is getting much, much smarter.

I love the one about gold and the first piece was interesting although I would probably have enjoyed it a lot more if I knew the characters.

Yeah, I think the first one's probably almost wholly dependent on knowing bits of the story as well as the characters...ah, well.

I am, however, glad to hear you found Cliff's story enjoyable. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. :)

Oh, JAIDA. I'm beginning to think I will forever be amused reading about this girl no matter what she's in. Loved Cyprian's footnote, as well, though Kristen's, Cliff's, and Mashiro's just made me sad :(

The failed pocky was fun, too. Cliff may complain about Jaida, but it's clear he's enjoying his life, which is a good thing. The continuity with his reflections on gold made it work really well.
